There is a small scroll on Jewish doorways. It’s universally recognized. Now it's time we really get to understand it.
A Case for Mezuzah is a mini-course that takes you on a journey with master sofer and Torah scholar, Rabbi Menachem Kahn. In two classes, you'll explore the profound idea behind the mezuzah, discover how a kosher scroll is made (the answer may be longer than you think), and learn just about everything you need to know to put it up correctly.
It's only two classes. But your relationship with the Mezuzah will never be the same.
Classes will air on two consecutive Tuesdays: 5 Elul / August 18 and 12 Elul / August 25 at 6 p.m. Eastern / 3 p.m. Pacific

This class focuses on the laws, requirements, and proper techniques for placing a mezuzah on a doorway. The lesson addresses topics such as choosing appropriate cases, determining which rooms and doorframes require a mezuzah, identifying the correct placement height, and applying halachic principles to find the proper side of a doorway.

Meet the Presenter
Rabbi Menachem Kahn is a Chabad rabbi in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Recognizing a broader need for clear halachic guidance, he has authored several books and is a sought-after speaker and writer on a wide range of halachic topics.
A world-renowned expert in the laws of Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzos, Rabbi Kahn serves as a member of Vaad Mishmeres STaM, certifying scribes and proofreaders, and sits on the Crown Heights Beis Din, where he also gives bi-weekly classes to scribes.
